Self Made - A3
Self Made - A3
- A3 version of the poster. It refers to tailor's blanks
The sewing machine is an object that evokes a vast array of associations - ambiguous and intriguing. On the one hand a symbol of progress, on the other - of enslavement. For people born in the communist era, like us, the sewing machine at home was a chance to make a summer dress, matching pants from an older brother, a carnival outfit from a sheet. Living proof of creativity in an era of notorious shortages. At a time when apartment sewing machines are moving out of the trash or into the dustbin, it's worth reminding ourselves that there are other options than replicating ourselves on patterns from chain stores. It's time to go beyond the punch line!
