First there was the book - it was impossible to miss among the other antiques; despite its frayed pages and loose pages, we knew it had great potential. Beautifully folded in gothic, hardcover, yellowed paper of good quality and of course... 124 color engravings - a who's who of the Plant Kingdom. It was hard to resist!

I grew up in the woods, plants have always been close to me, the apartment is full of them, but unfortunately - planting and caring for them comes out differently for me, well - perhaps the "hand to plants" is acquired with age. Hence, my adventures with plants always have a touch of gambling in them - to water more or less? Trim or leave? Too much sun? Too much shade? Is the fertilizer good? Lucky he who does not know these dilemmas! Like gambling, it's cards, and since the cards are figures and colors of the seasons.

In front of you are figures from the two dominant seasons in Wroclaw - summer and autumn. They appear in pairs, in a diptych with an atlas engraving, or even fours - two engravings and a princely couple. There are only 60 cards with engravings in the book, and this limits the number of diptychs to sixty - for that, each can appear in two views, since the cards with engravings are printed on both sides.

Graphics are sold unframed or framed, thus avoiding damage in transit.
